Inspired by its rich history and iconic building, The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is the epitome of Miami glamour. Lionstone development acquired the 350,000 square foot, 375-room luxury landmark DiLido resort in 1971.

Sagamore Miami Beach

Lionstone acquired the iconic Art Deco boutique hotel in a joint venture partnership in 2020. The beachfront hotel features 101 guest rooms, cabanas and suites and over 18’000 square foot indoor and outdoor event space.

Virgin Hotel | Chicago

Lionstone, in partnership with Sir Richard Branson and Virgin group created this first ever Virgin branded hotel concept. Lionstone supervised the $110 million landmark Art Deco building renovation, and the 255-room Virgin hotel was opened in 2015. Virgin Hotels Chicago has been named #1 Hotel in Chicago by Conde Nast Reader's Choice Awards.

Dreams Curacao Resort, Spa and Casino | Curacao

Lionstone acquired the 197-room 130,000 square foot oceanfront property in 1996, throughout the years the resort underwent several major renovations and repositioning. Most recently in 2020, following a $15 million renovation of the guestrooms and public areas, the resort was rebranded as Dreams Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino.

Zoetry Curacao Resort & Spa | Curacao

This 72 suite former boutique hotel, acquired in 2008, underwent a complete renovation of all suites and common areas, including spa and restaurants, which transformed the property into a luxury all-inclusive Zoetry Curacao Resort, opened in January 2022. The addition of 36 beach cabanas will be completed later this year.

Sunscape Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino | Curacao

Lionstone acquired the 341-room ocean front resort in 2000 after completing several multi-phase renovations totaling over $20 million, the hotel was rebranded as Sunscape Curacao Resort, Spa & Casino in 2014.

Princess Casino | Curacao

Located at the Sunscape Curaçao Resort, the 1400 square foot Princess Casino features two bars, 190 slot machines, poker, blackjack and roulette tables and a bingo hall, as well as Sportsbook live betting.

Located at the Dreams Resort, the Curacao Casino features two bars, a bingo hall, 160 slot machines, the only poker room in Curacao, as well Sportsbook with live betting.

Holiday Inn Aruba Beach Resort | Aruba

The site and 605-room ocean front Holiday Inn with a lease structure with IHG were acquired in 1999. Throughout the years, the hotel underwent several renovations of rooms, public areas and retail space.

Xanadu Casino | Aruba

Xanadu Casino Aruba is currently under development scheduled to open later this year. The 1000 square foot casino will feature a bar, Blackjack tables, a roulette wheel, 186 slot machines and Sports book betting.

EPIC Hotel & Residences Miami

Lionstone acquired the former Dupont Miami site and entitled two towers with 3.5 million square feet, over 900 residences, lifestyle hotel, 30,000 square feet of commercial space and an 800 linear foot marina.

Isla Verde Puerto Rico

Lionstone acquired the Isla Verde boutique hotel and beach club in 2007. Currently Lionstone is re- developing the beachfront site as a residential condominium project.

St. Thomas USVI

The 45-acre site as acquired and entitled by Lionstone in 2006 under a joint venture with MVCI/Ritz Carlton. The project entailed over 200 residences, 100 fractional units, large scale marina and related amenities. Subsequently the site was sold to MVCI.

Seville Beach Hotel Miami Beach

The 325 room 500,000 square foot beachfront resort, acquired by Lionstone in 1974, was co-entitled and pre-developed for renewal in 2005-2008 with the original intent to develop it was the Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences Miami Beach.

Argentina

In the 1990’s the Lowenstein Family developed commercial real estate ventures in Argentina that include the largest shopping center in Buenos Aires as a co-development, featuring over 200 tenants and one million square feet. The renovation and new development of the twenty-five street fronting retail units totaled over 250,000 square feet.

The Lowenstein family of Lionstone Development planted its roots in Miami in 1966 with the purchase of their first hotel in Miami Beach.
