The Ritz-Carlton | South Beach

The Ritz-Carlton South Beach, formerly the iconic Dilido Beach Hotel, was acquired by the Lowenstein family in 1971. This property originally designed by the world famous architect Morris Lapidus in 1955 epitomizes the prolific history of Miami Beach opulence. Reflected in the design of the 375-room luxury landmark, this 350,000 square foot resort elevates the standard of luxury while honoring its iconic heritage.

Dedicated to paying homage to its prime location in the heart of South Beach and embodying the pinnacle of Miami luxury, Lionstone spearheaded and completed in 2003 a $200 million re-development of the Ritz-Carlton South Beach. This included the addition of three new floors, two level parking garage, two lanai room wings, and 20,000 square feet of commercial retail space.

Committed to ongoing enhancement of interior and exterior appearance, the property underwent $90+ million renovation in 2020. Lionstone asset manages the operation and the continued capital investments in public and service areas of the property.
