2020: Opening of Dreams Curacao after 15 MM renovation.
The Ritz-Carlton South Beach reopens after a 376 guestrooms renovation.
Lionstone partners with Flag Luxury and Ben-Josef Group to merge The Ritz-Carltons and Sagamore.
2021: 7MM conversion renovation and rebrand of Floris Curacao resort to Zoetry Resort Curacao complete.
2022: New Lionstone development headquarter opens in the heart of the Miami Design District.
2011: As co-creator of Virgin Hotels brand Acquires and initiates development of Old Dearborn Bank Building in Chicago to convert to the first Virgin Hotel worldwide.
2012: The Ritz-Carlton South Beach undergoes $11MM renovations of guestrooms and suites.
2013: Full renovation of rooms at Hilton Curacao.
Holiday Inn Aruba undergoes room renovation.
Leases 19,000 GSF of retail space to Walgreens on Lincoln road and Collins Ave.
The Ritz-Carlton South Beach undergoes meeting space renovation.
2014: Sunscape Curacao Resort renovation completed.
Sells Downtown Miami entitled parcel adjacent to Epic Hotel at record market price.
Acquires luxury ocean front property and converts into The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour.
2015: The first Virgin Hotel in the world opens in Chicago with 250 rooms.
2016: Lionstone Development celebrates it’s 50th anniversary.
2017: The Ritz-Carlton Bal harbor refurbishes guestrooms and suites for 3MM.
2018: The Ritz-Carlton South Beach undergoes 75 MM renovation of public areas and guestrooms.
2019: Agreement signed with AM resorts to convert Hilton Curacao to 5 star all inclusive Dreams resort.
2000: Acquires the Princes Beach Resort & Casino in Curaçao 2001 repositions the resort as the all-inclusive Breezes Curaçao Resort and Casino.
2003: Opens The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach.
2004: Launches co-development and ore-sales with CMC Construction of EPIC Residences & Hotel in downtown Miami for a mixed-use project including two 55- story residential towers, five-star hotel, Marina and retail space.
2005: Initiates permitting for Acqua Marina, a $15 million residential venture in Fort Lauderdale.
Initiates co-developments with Genesis Group for the St. Regis Residences, Costa Rica.
Initiates co-development with Fortune International for The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, South Beach.
2006: Begins the entitlement of a 250-unit condominium in the U.S Virgin Island as co-developer with Ritz-Carlton.
Initiates the co-development with Global Development of a 65,000 sq. ft. residential venture in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida.
2008: Acquires Floris Suite Hotel Curacao.
Construction of EPIC Residences and Hotel is completed.
2009: EPIC Hotel managed by Kimpton Hotels opens in Miami.
1992: Co-develops Paseo Alcorta, a 1 million sq. ft. shopping center in Buenos Aires with more than 200 tenants (interest sold in 1993).
1997: Acquires the 200 –room Curaçao Casino Resort. In 1999, repositions property as the Sheraton Resort & Casino, in 2003, further upgrades and repositions the property as the Hilton Curaçao & Casino.
1999: Acquires the 600-room Holiday Inn in Aruba.
1980: Initiates investments over 250,000 sq. ft. of freestanding retail and commercial space in Buenos Aires and surrounding.
1985: Develops Paseo de la infanta, a 200,000 sq. ft. shopping center in Palermo, Buenos Aires.
1971: Acquires the 352-room DiLido Hotel Miami beach (redeveloped into The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in 2003).
1974: Acquires and initiates development of a 550-acre residential community in Pembroke Pines, Florida (sold in 1973).
Acquires the 325-room Seville Beach Hotel, Miami Beach (redeveloping into The Ritz Carlton Club & Residences, South Beach in 2006).
1966: Acquires the White House Hotel, South Beach (sold in 1973
Acquires a 35,000 sq. ft. retail building in South Beach.
Acquires two rental apartment buildings in Miami Beach (sold in 1973).
1967: Acquires the Copacabana Hotel Miami Beach (sold 1970).
Acquires the 150,000 sq. ft. Mercantile Office Building in Miami Beach (sold in 1976).
Initiates co-investment and sale of southeast Centers, shopping centers in Miami and West Palm Beach with 150 tenants and 600,000 sq. ft. of retail space.
